Shipping + Returns

Kleur Design is located in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada and charges the sales taxes (HST) applicable to Ontario. Orders shipped outside of Ontario are charged HST.  We ship to Canada exclusively. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. 

Lead Times

Items that are stocked in our warehouse and ship within 2-3 business days. Lighting, furniture, rugs and large art ship directly from the manufacturer to you. Each item and manufacturers have specific shipping lead times. Once you place an order we'll contact you within 48hrs to give you an approximate lead time. Custom items and made to order items have the approximate lead times listed in the product description.

Smaller Parcel Items are shipped via Courier (Purolator, UPS, Fedex or Canada Post).
Some of our larger items are considered oversize and may be shipped with a freight carrier. Please note  STANDARD DELIVERY IS DOOR STEP ONLY. Meaning the delivery men do not enter the home or assemble the furniture. If you live in a building it would be brought into the lobby and no further. Other than beds and dining tables, most of our larger furniture pieces come fully assembled. Please ensure you are comfortable bringing it to its desired destination in your home or contact us to upgrade to White Glove Delivery. White glove service may be requested in certain areas at an extra cost. The service includes unpacking, minor assembly and garbage removal.  Please contact us for Details.

Order Notes

Please utilize the order note section during checkout to specify unique situations the delivery company may encounter during delivery. No elevator, small doorway, etc. Please ensure items being order fit through and into their desired destination prior to ordering. If you have any questions about size please don't hesitate to ask. Additionally, if you would like us to add signature required, please let us know!

Delays

Delays in shipment or delivery can be caused due to holidays, busy season, weather or various other reasons. These delays are out of our control and can push the delivery window past the 2-4 weeks or lead time given at the time of ordering. We ask for your patience during these times as we do our best to ensure all items get to our customers as quickly as possible!

Stock

We do our best to feature in stock items but in some instances, products can sell out before we have the chance to update our website. If you purchase an item that is out of stock we will contact you with an estimated stock date. If the date isn't to your liking we will reimburse you 100% and/or suggest a similar in stock item. Please contact us for stock inventory and specific lead times.

Returns

Ordering online can be hard especially with investment pieces. If for some reason you aren't 100% satisfied with your purchase we will try to be as helpful as possible, but we do have some limitations on returns!

Overview

You may return small items (courier shipped) for a refund of the merchandise total within 15 days of delivery; all you need to do is ship the item back to us or return it to our Bloomfield location.

Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to post back to your account.

Return Shipping

Please email us at sales@kleurdesign.com prior to shipping your return for approval. If you chose to return an item, the return shipping is your responsibility and our actual initial shipping costs will be deducted from your total refund amount. We do not offer return shipping labels. Please note our actual shipping costs are often higher than what we charge customers and can be up to $500. Items must be in original packaging and in their original state to be eligible for a refund.

Final Sale

All hardwired lighting fixtures are final sale.

All made to order art and made to order custom furniture is final sale and cannot be cancelled after 24hrs of purchase.

Other than in the event of a severe product defect, freight shipped items including sofas, beds, dining tables, bookcases and any furniture over 50 lbs are final sale.  Please measure accordingly before ordering.

Floor models, clearance section items, or any item receiving over a 25% discount are final sale.

Manufacturer Defects

Defects are subject to inspection and approval and need to be reported within the first 48hrs of receiving the item. Defect claims occurring over time are only available within the first 6 months of receiving the item after-which we can no longer guarantee replacement or credit for the item. Please note natural materials including wood and marble have variations and their imperfections are not considered defects. As foreign wood adapts to our climate, it can shift size and cause cracking. This again is not necessarily a defect of the product, but a beautiful reminder of its organic nature.
